Phyron launches AI VIN video ads for TikTok dealers

Phyron is set to give dealers early access to a new TikTok automotive advertising product enabling AI-generated VIN-level video ads targeted at in-market car buyers.

The AI content platform, which works with more than 4,000 dealers across 30 countries, has integrated with TikTok’s new Automotive Ads for Inventory solution, currently in closed alpha, with wider rollout expected later in 2026.

The catalogue-based product allows dealerships to promote live inventory directly to consumers, with each vehicle generating its own tailored video ad based on stock data.

Through the integration, Phyron automates the entire process, ingesting a dealer’s inventory feed and producing studio-quality video ads for each individual VIN without manual editing or per-vehicle production costs.

Jens-Peter Sjöberg, co-founder and chief innovation officer at Phyron, said: “TikTok is not a platform dealers can afford to ignore. The data consistently shows that car buyers are on TikTok, they are open to discovery, and they are actively using it to inform their purchasing decisions.

“What has been missing is a practical way for dealers to be present at scale with content that matches every vehicle in their stock not just a handful of hero cars. Our integration with Automotive Ads for Inventory solves that problem entirely. Dealers get AI-powered, VIN-level video ads across their whole inventory, matched to in-market buyers, without lifting a finger.”

The platform is also proving influential in early-stage consideration, with research showing 75% of TikTok shoppers use it for automotive content, while 81% say it increases interest in new brands and 78% in specific models.

Higher leads from video ads

Phyron said its existing inventory-level video ads are already delivering strong commercial results, with customers seeing more than 50% more leads compared to static formats, and in some cases more than doubling lead volumes, accompanied by lower cost per lead, higher engagement and increased click-through rates to dealer websites.

The platform also ensures ads remain up to date automatically, replacing sold vehicles with new stock in real time, allowing dealers to run continuous, accurate inventory campaigns without ongoing manual input.
