Farizon has introduced a Sport version of its SV electric van as it continues to expand its UK dealer network and strengthen its presence in the UK light commercial vehicle market.
The launch comes as distributor Jameel Motors builds its UK franchise network, having previously said it is targeting experienced van and truck dealers rather than a large-volume dealership footprint.
Developed in partnership with authorised converter CPD Bodies, the SV Sport combines the standard van’s specification with a bespoke styling package aimed at customers looking for a more distinctive appearance.
The UK-developed exterior package includes a redesigned front bumper, front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, roof spoiler and bespoke SV Sport badging. Customers can also choose from a range of exclusive finishes including matte black, matte green, bright orange, vampire red, satin grey, gloss blue and gloss yellow.
The model is fitted with 20-inch alloy wheels as standard, with 18-inch alloys available as a no-cost option. Inside, it features bespoke kick plates, Sport branding on the steering wheel and an individually numbered dashboard plaque.
Initially available on L1H1 variants, the SV Sport will be sold through Farizon’s UK dealer network.
Calum James, country general manager at Farizon Auto UK, said: “Some customers want their van with extra flair to reflect their individual style, and the SV Sport certainly scores on that front.
“It combines the practicality customers expect from a trusted workhorse and adds loads of character to ensure it’s in a league of its own, whether on a construction site or out on the open road.
“It’s a great example of how we’re raising the game across the Farizon SV line-up, and we’re proud to partner with CPD Bodies to bring this model to market.”
Mechanically, the SV Sport is unchanged from the standard SV L1H1.
It retains the all-electric powertrain producing 170kW (231PS) and 336Nm of torque, with a payload of up to 1,350kg, load capacity of up to 6.95m³ and a loading height of 550mm.
Standard equipment includes heated seats, a heated multifunction steering wheel, a 360-degree surround-view camera, vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, payload monitoring, automatic wipers, a heated windscreen and a suite of advanced driver assistance systems.
Farizon launched in the UK last year through Jameel Motors, with plans to attract experienced commercial vehicle dealers and broaden its electric van range beyond the SV in the coming years.
