Renault will open a pop-up retail space on London’s Oxford Street, giving UK audiences their first view of a near production Renault 5 Turbo 3E.
The ‘maison renault’ experience will run from April 18 to 26 at Future Stores, bringing together the brand’s latest compact electric models in a single location for the first time in the UK.
Renault said the event is expected to attract significant footfall during its run, positioning the brand’s latest EV range in one of the UK’s highest profile retail locations. Approximately 500,000 people walk down London’s Oxford Street every week.
Headlining the event is the Renault 5 Turbo 3E, a limited run electric performance model producing 555hp, with just 1,980 units planned globally.
The model, described as a ‘mini supercar’, is the most powerful production Renault to date and has a top speed approaching 170mph.
It will be displayed alongside the Renault 5 E-Tech electric, Renault 4 E-Tech electric and the new Renault Twingo E-Tech electric, offering visitors a first opportunity to view the full line-up together in London.
Visitors will also be able to take part in a driving simulator experience based on the Renault 5 Turbo 3E, with professional driver and influencer Becky Evans setting a benchmark lap time for attendees to beat.

The activation builds on previous ‘Maison’ events in the capital and is designed to showcase Renault’s electric strategy through a mix of vehicle displays, digital content and interactive elements.
Last year Renault UK occupied the same spot on Oxford Street to bring consumers’ attention to its Renault 5 EV.
This time, the Twingo E-Tech electric, recently shown at Renault’s Battersea retail space, returns as part of the line-up, targeting urban buyers with compact dimensions and distinctive design.
The Oxford Street site will feature large format digital displays highlighting vehicle technologies and design features, alongside live performances and branded merchandise.
David Isherwood, marketing director at Renault UK, said: “With maison renault, we’re bringing together the most exciting expression yet of our electric strategy in a way that people can experience for themselves.
“Each of these vehicles has its own distinct personality, and together they show how Renault is making electric mobility more desirable, more exciting, more accessible and more relevant to everyday life than ever before.”
