The Ti 7 combines front and rear electric motors with a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine to produce 408PS.
BYD claims the seven-seat SUV can accelerate from 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds and travel up to 74 miles using electric power alone.

The SUV will also feature leather upholstery, three-zone climate control, a panoramic glass roof and an in-car refrigerator that can also warm drinks or food. Heating and ventilation are provided for the front seats and the two outer seats in the second row.
The Ti 7 offers 126 litres of luggage capacity with all seven seats in use, increasing to 970 litres when the third row is folded. Folding the second and third seating rows increases capacity to 1,830 litres.
Six exterior colours will be offered. Starlight Silver is included in the standard price, while Mountain Green, Obsidian Black, Jade Green and Titanium Grey cost an additional £1,100. Matte Titanium Grey is priced at £2,000.
The Ti 7 rides on 20-inch alloy wheels and includes LED exterior lighting, privacy glass and acoustic glass for the windscreen and front windows.
