International Motors has promoted Kevin Green as head of network development as Chris Graham retires after 28 years with the business.

Green is already working alongside Graham and will assume full responsibility for the role following his retirement in the summer.

Green will oversee franchise representation across IML’s automotive and van brands.

Green brings more than 25 years’ industry experience, including roles with premium German brands. Since joining IML in 2021, he has held operational and regional management positions with Subaru UK.

William Brown, managing director UK and Ireland at International Motors, said: “Chris (pictured left) has been with IML for 28 years, during which time he has made a significant and lasting contribution to our business.

“An important member of our senior management team, Chris has helped shape many of the franchised networks that we represent as a distributor in the UK and Ireland.

“We thank him for his outstanding dedication and commitment to our operations and our dealer partners, with whom he has worked so closely.

“As we say goodbye to Chris, Kevin takes on his new role at an important moment for IML and all the brands it represents.

“Kevin brings substantial manufacturer experience across sales and aftersales and will head the growth and consolidation of our dealer networks at a pivotal time for International Motors.”

Green added: “I’m excited to lead network development in a period of such potential for both IML and the retail industry, across our exciting portfolio of both current and new marques.

“IML’s vision is to develop and diversify the businesses of our existing dealer partners while exploring opportunities for representation of IML’s established, emerging and future brands.”

Green will lead a team including Ben Williams, who has been promoted to network development manager, and Julie Smith, franchise operations co-ordinator.

Both have supported the development of IML’s Xpeng retail network and the appointment of Mitsubishi sales partners ahead of the arrival of the new Outlander PHEV and L200 pickup in the UK this year.

IML represents Subaru in the UK and Ireland, Isuzu in the UK, GWM UK and the recently announced Foton LCV range.

Graham joined IML in 1998 as a regional manager and went on to lead Citroën Ireland and Subaru UK as managing director.

He became head of network development in 2021 and has overseen more than 400 dealer appointments.
