SalesMaster founder Chris Stott has launched a new AI-native fleet technology business designed to connect car manufacturers, dealers, leasing companies and brokers around a single shared vehicle order record.
Flevera has been developed to tackle what Stott describes as a fragmented fleet supply chain in which vehicle orders are still routinely passed between OEM portals, dealer management systems, leasing platforms, broker systems, CRMs and spreadsheets.
The Milton Keynes-based business says its platform can sit between existing systems rather than requiring dealers or other fleet businesses to replace them.
Its aim is to create a shared, real-time record of each order and reduce the re-keying, chasing and manual administration involved in moving vehicles through the fleet supply chain.
The launch comes as fleet and business registrations account for around 60% of the UK new car market, according to SMMT data, while increasingly complex channels such as salary sacrifice are adding more participants to individual transactions.
Flevera said a salary sacrifice order can involve an employer, employee, scheme provider, leasing company, broker, dealer and manufacturer, increasing the need for businesses to exchange accurate order and delivery information.
Designed to chase order updates
At the centre of the platform is Flev, an AI assistant designed to monitor orders and take action where information or intervention is required.
The system can identify orders requiring attention, contact the relevant party for an update, collect the response and close the action rather than simply alerting a user that something needs to be done.
Flev can also respond to requests for specific operational views of the order bank and generates a daily “Today’s Focus” showing the orders it believes most require attention.
Designed to connect dealer systems
Flevera’s sharing system, called Lenses, allows external parties to access selected live information through a link without requiring a separate login or full system integration.
Information can also be brought into the platform from sources including emails and spreadsheets, while businesses wanting deeper integration can use APIs, webhooks or data synchronisation. Access permissions can be set at individual order level so that different businesses only see the information relevant to them.
Stott, who previously founded automotive retail technology business SalesMaster, said Flevera had been deliberately designed as a neutral infrastructure layer rather than another system intended to displace existing dealer, leasing or manufacturer technology.
“We’re not here to replace what you’ve built, we’re the layer that connects it to everyone else,” he said. “If you’re building a DMS, a leasing platform, a broker portal or a logistics system, we want to talk to you.”
Flevera has opened a launch partner programme for dealer groups, manufacturers, leasing companies, brokers and fleet operators.
