Cazana has launched a new membership programme for independent dealers, offering vehicle intelligence, market data and IMDA member discounts.

The automotive data provider has unveiled Cazana 500, a membership scheme designed specifically for independent dealers, offering access to its Companion vehicle intelligence platform alongside the opportunity to influence future product development.

To mark its appointment as an IMDA supplier partner, the first 500 IMDA members to join will pay £100 a month for two years, with no long-term contract and the option to cancel at any time.

The monthly subscription is £125 for non-members.

The programme includes full access to Cazana’s Companion platform, providing vehicle pricing intelligence, live market data, MOT history and provenance information to support stock buying and retail pricing decisions.

Unlike traditional software subscriptions, Cazana said members will also be able to help shape the future development of the platform by providing feedback on the tools and features they want to see introduced.

Platform designed around dealer feedback

Ian Lilley, managing director of Cazana, said: “Our ambition is to build more than a subscription service.

“We want to create a community where independent dealers benefit from powerful data, shared knowledge and exclusive member rewards.

“Additionally, while Cazana powers the platform, it is truly built by dealers because we are inviting independent dealers to shape the next generation of companion.

“We’re asking them to let us know what they need and what would make them more profitable, and we will build it in.”

Members will also have access to a private WhatsApp community to discuss market trends, pricing strategies and stock opportunities with other independent dealers, alongside exclusive competitions and member rewards.

Umesh Samani, chairman of the IMDA, said the partnership comes at a time when many independent dealers are facing increasing commercial pressures.

He said: “Independent motor dealers are currently facing a severe margin squeeze from both sides, driven by intensifying national competition and supply shortages that have inflated vehicle acquisition costs, combined with sharply rising reconditioning overheads and the volatile residual values of used electric vehicles.”

Dealers interested in joining Cazana 500 can register through the Cazana website.
