AM100 dealership group Arnold Clark has opened five new Leapmotor dealerships in Scotland, more than doubling its representation of the Chinese EV brand from four locations to nine.
The dealer group has added Leapmotor operations in Armadale, Edinburgh Seafield, Glasgow Hamilton Road, Kilmarnock and Glenrothes.
They join its existing Leapmotor dealerships in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow Garscube Road and Perth, significantly increasing the brand’s coverage across Scotland.
Leapmotor joined Arnold Clark’s franchise portfolio last year and the latest expansion gives more customers access to the manufacturer’s growing electric vehicle range.
Five locations added
Customers at the new dealerships will be able to view Leapmotor models, arrange test drives and receive advice from Arnold Clark teams on switching to electric vehicles.
The current UK range includes the T03 city car, B10 C-segment SUV, C10 mid-sized SUV and recently launched B05 coupé.

Chinese brand expands with Arnold Clark
Leapmotor was founded in China in 2015 and is backed by Stellantis, which acquired a 21% stake in the company in 2023 through a €1.5 billion investment.
Arnold Clark operates around 200 locations across the UK and sells more than 200,000 vehicles annually. The group also operates servicing, parts and accident repair businesses alongside its EV charging network.
