Mazda is targeting an uplift in Personal Contract Hire (PCH) sales as it prepares its UK dealer network for the arrival of the all-new Mazda6e electric vehicle this summer.

The Japanese brand has launched a finance initiative designed to increase the number of vehicles sold through its Mazda PCH offering, with a focus on both retail and local fleet customers.

Mazda is aiming for an 18% increase in PCH sales across its UK network in 2026, positioning the product as a key part of its broader EV rollout strategy.

The move comes ahead of the Mazda6e launch, the first in a planned line-up of all-electric models. The model is already being supported with a marketing push through the newly launched HBO Max streaming service in the UK.

Dealers are expected to use PCH to attract conquest customers, particularly those seeking leasing alternatives to traditional finance products.

Monthly PCH rentals for the Mazda6e will start from £399 including VAT, supported by national and local marketing activity.

The brand will also increase promotion of PCH across its wider model range to build awareness and strengthen its finance proposition.

Jeremy Thomson, managing director of Mazda Motors UK, said: “The Mazda6e will have a strong appeal for both retail and local fleet customers, which is why we have developed a competitive PCH offering ahead of its launch.

“We’ve identified a need to have a more compelling financial proposition for retail customers,” he said, adding that many showroom visitors are now looking for cost effective leasing alternatives to PCPs “because not everyone wants the option to own a car at the end of its finance term”.

He added: “Having a strong PCH offering in the market will enable our dealer network to talk to customers about the most affordable finance solutions for their individual requirements. We believe this move will appeal to existing customers and help drive conquest sales.”
