The acquisition also includes Envisij’s companion products, Read My Tariff and Energy Map, expanding Tritility’s existing energy management offering alongside its Energy Metrics platform and carbon accounting services.
Following the acquisition, every Tritility client will be able to access software-based energy monitoring at no additional cost, while organisations requiring deeper insight will have access to advanced hardware monitoring, including circuit-level analysis.
The acquisition supports Tritility’s strategy of helping businesses move beyond energy procurement by giving them the tools to understand and actively reduce their energy use. While many organisations still rely on monthly bills to understand consumption, Envisij provides real-time visibility into how, when and where energy is being used, enabling businesses to identify waste and take immediate action.
The platform has already helped organisations reduce HVAC energy costs, identify six-figure billing errors and cut overall energy consumption by between 5% and 25%.
The timing also aligns with the UK’s transition to Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS), which will see electricity settlement based on half-hourly consumption data ahead of full implementation in 2027. As businesses increasingly need accurate, timely energy data to manage costs and demonstrate progress towards sustainability targets, Tritility believes real-time monitoring will become an essential part of commercial energy management.
Tritility will begin rolling Envisij out across its existing client base of more than 5,000 businesses and 17,000 meter points before extending the platform through its rapidly growing sub-broker network. Launched less than a year ago, the channel already supports more than 100 brokers, who will also receive access to the platform on a fully white-label basis at no additional cost, allowing them to deliver enhanced energy management services under their own brand.
