For us, however, being a successful aggregator has never simply been about providing access to competitive pricing. What really sets us apart is the strength of the successful and trusted relationships we’ve built with our supplier partners.
Our approach has always been simple: be human, be honest, and build relationships that work for everyone.
Why Our Supplier Relationships Matter
Our supplier relationships are fundamental to the way we operate. We work hard to develop genuine partnerships with our suppliers, rather than treating business as purely transactional. By taking the time to understand our suppliers’ businesses, their priorities and the challenges they face, we’ve developed partnerships based on openness and trust.
These relationships become particularly important when we bring brokers into the conversation. Suppliers need confidence that the business being introduced to them is being handled professionally, transparently, and in a way that reflects their own standards. Our role is to build that trust and confidence and to ensure that our broker partners receive the support and service that they require.
Our supplier relationships are built on both sides understanding that long-term success comes from doing the right thing and not just doing the most business.
How Does This Support Our Broker Network
Strong supplier relationships allow us to provide a better service for our broker network. Our brokers benefit from access to a broad range of suppliers, competitive products and market expertise. They also have a Utility Aid team behind them that understands how to navigate the market and work effectively with suppliers.
We want the brokers who work with us to feel that we’re an extension of their teams. Whether that’s helping with a difficult deal, understanding supplier requirements, resolving an issue, or simply picking up the phone and having a conversation. Our approach is deliberately personal.
We don’t want to be an aggregator where brokers merely submit business into a system and wait for an outcome. We want to have the same trusted partnerships that we have with our suppliers.
Supplier Confidence
Being a successful aggregator requires the trust of our suppliers. We understand that they need assurances on the business we submit, the way we engage our customers and the standards we adhere to throughout the sales process. Our responsibility is not just to open the door to our supplier partners, but to ensure that the businesses we introduce meet the required standards. Our in-depth understanding of our supplier partners’ requirements and open communication, give them confidence in our broker network.
Be Human
At the heart of everything we do at Utility Aid is a simple philosophy: be human. This runs right through our core business and not just our broker channel.
The energy market can be complex and often creates challenges, but ultimately it’s an industry built around relationships. Our supplier partnerships are successful because we’ve invested time in getting to know the people we work with, being honest and doing what we say we’re going to do. And we take the same approach with our broker partners.
Bringing Our Partners Together
That’s exactly why we’re so excited about our upcoming broker event. The event is about bringing together two groups of partners who are fundamental to the success of our Aggregator Channel: our brokers and our supplier partners.
We want to create an environment where relationships can develop face to face, brokers can hear directly from suppliers, ask questions, understand what’s happening in the market, and put names to faces. It’s also an opportunity for us to showcase what makes our Channel different.
