US automotive technology group OEConnection is to acquire Epyx, r2c Online and Business Gateway from Corpay as it looks to expand its European fleet and aftersales technology business.

The three businesses provide technology used for servicing, maintenance and repair (SMR), fleet operations, workshop management and compliance across the UK and Europe.

OEConnection said existing customer contacts, agreements and services will remain in place following completion of the deal.

Aftersales technology expansion

The acquisition will extend OEConnection’s presence in the European fleet and automotive aftersales technology market.

OEConnection’s majority investor Francisco Partners will continue to support the combined business.

The transaction is expected to complete later in 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Patrick Brown, chief executive of OEConnection, said: “Epyx has built deep, long-standing relationships across the fleet and garage network ecosystem in the UK and Europe, and their platforms are purpose-built for the fleet market they serve.

“Bringing our organizations together reflects a shared commitment to the fleet and aftersales industry, and to the technology that keeps vehicles on the road.

“We look forward to working toward close and, in time, to welcoming their teams, customers, and partners into OEConnection.”

Fleet tech businesses combine

Aditya Varadpande, managing director of Epyx, r2c Online and Business Gateway, said: “Over more than two decades, we have built technologies, partnerships, and a set of relationships that fleets and repair stakeholders across the UK and Europe rely on every day.

“Joining OEConnection reflects a strong strategic fit between organisations that share a deep commitment to the fleet and aftersales industry. We look forward to the road ahead as we work toward completing the transaction.”

OEConnection was formed in 2000 through a partnership involving Ford, General Motors, Chrysler and Snap-On and provides digital technology for the automotive aftersales sector.
