Mitsubishi Motors has added a commercial version of the L200 Series 7 to its UK dealer range, widening the pickup’s appeal among trades, fleets and rural businesses.
Earlier this summer, Mitsubishi Motors announced that it had appointed 24 new dealer partners, taking its UK network to 58 full dealerships as it rebuilds its retail presence around the new L200 Series 7 and Outlander PHEV.
Mitsubishi says the commercial vehicle status of the L200 Series 7 also offers eligible business users reclaimable VAT, a 100% first-year capital allowance and fixed annual road tax of £360. Benefit in Kind is charged at a flat rate of £4,170 based on 2026/27 figures.
Payload and towing target trades
Available in Titan and Barbarian specifications, the L200 Commercial combines a payload of more than one tonne with a 3,500kg towing capacity.
The commercial conversion adds a perforated steel bulkhead behind the front seats. The rear seats and seatbelts are removed, while a phenolic floor and four integrated D-ring load restraints are fitted. Privacy glass is retained in the rear passenger doors.
The load bed measures 1,555mm long, 1,545mm wide and 526mm deep, providing enough space for a standard 1,200mm by 800mm Euro pallet.
Titan Commercial has a maximum payload of 1,092kg, while the higher-specification Barbarian can carry up to 1,025kg. Both versions have an 80kg roof-loading capacity.

“The addition of a commercial option in both Titan and Barbarian specification extends demand for the all-new L200 across industries, coupling its prowess in demanding environments with the tax advantages of a commercial vehicle.”
Titan and Barbarian specifications
The L200 Series 7 Commercial uses a 2.4-litre bi-turbo engine producing 204PS and 470Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission as standard.
Its drivetrain offers rear-wheel drive and shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive, supported by seven selectable driving modes.
Barbarian models gain Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD II system with a torque-sensing locking centre differential. This allows full-time four-wheel drive to be used on tarmac as well as off road, including while towing.
The L200 Titan Commercial is priced from £37,495 CVOTR, while the Barbarian Commercial starts from £41,195 CVOTR.
