Maserati has confirmed it will close its dealership operated by AM100 dealership group JCT600 on Sticker Lane in Bradford as part of a reorganisation of its UK dealer network.

According to the Telegraph & Argus, the luxury car manufacturer confirmed the closure after sources suggested the dealership would cease trading on November 30.

Maserati opened two new showrooms in Glasgow and Manchester last year as part of a new partnership with AM100 dealership group Arnold Clark.

The Italian brand previously had a presence in both cities – in Glasgow with Parks Motor Group and with HR Owen in Manchester and Stockport. Parks ceased operations for Maserati in 2024 in Glasgow while HR Owen Stockport has been replaced by Arnold Clark.

A Maserati spokesperson told the newspaper: “Maserati is currently reorganising its UK dealer network to further strengthen its presence across the market and continue to provide customers with the highest standards of service, while remaining close to their evolving needs and expectations.

“While we can confirm the closure of the Maserati dealership at JCT600 Bradford, we are continuing to invest in strategic locations across the UK, including through a larger dealership in Manchester, ensuring a strong and effective network for our customers.”

JCT600 begins staff consultation

JCT600 has yet to confirm any changes at the multi-franchise dealership which represents Maserati alongside Audi, BMW and Lotus but told the newspaper that its employees remained its priority.

A JCT600 spokesperson told the newspaper: “We are aware of speculation regarding potential changes to some of our Sticker Lane, Bradford, operations.

“Our colleagues are our number one priority, and we are currently engaged in a formal consultation process with those individuals potentially impacted, and until that process has been completed, it would not be appropriate to comment on specific proposals.

“We remain committed to communicating openly with colleagues and will provide further information publicly once the consultation process has concluded.”

BMW meanwhile was reported as stating that while JCT600 was best placed to comment on the future of its operations at the site, it sought to reassure customers.

“We can reassure BMW and Mini customers in Bradford that they will continue to have access to aftersales support through our authorised repairer network across the region.”

JCT600 was founded in Bradford in 1946, beginning as a single garage on Sticker Lane before developing into one of the UK’s largest family-owned motor retail groups covering Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and the North East.
