Aftersales technology company Tjekvik has announced the appointment of Martin Nørgaard Høgh as chief executive officer.

Høgh, who joined the company in November last year as chief revenue officer, will be tasked with overseeing its planned expansion beyond its core vehicle check-in and check-out business to offering a platform covering the full aftersales journey.

He replaces Tjekvik co-founder Christian Mark, who steps down as CEO after 10 years in the role, but will remain on the company’s board and become director of Tjekvik Ventures, the group’s new-venture arm.

Tjekvik says its planned expansion follows the acquisition of a majority stake in the business by Standout Capital in January last year.

Tjekvik argues that aftersales is the most profitable part of franchised dealers’ business, yet one of the least software-enabled. It says that where its products today cover vehicle handover and collection, under Høgh’s leadership it will expand to cover aspects such as targeted upselling, workshop efficiency, unifying workflows across dealer groups, and applying AI to increase customer personalisation.

Tjekvik’s technology is at more than 2,300 franchised dealer sites across more than 30 countries. It says it saw self-service interactions grow by around 25% year-on-year during the first half of 2026.

Tjekvik aims to be market leader

Høgh said: “Our ambition is straightforward: to be the leading SAAS company in automotive aftersales, with products and services a dealer uses right across the customer journey – targeted upselling, a workshop that runs to time, and one way of working across an entire group.

“With consolidation accelerating and OEMs asking more of their networks every year, that has stopped being a nice-to-have. We have more than 2,300 dealer sites, millions of visits a year and a team of more than 60 people who know this business; my job is to turn that into the digital team that runs aftersales for them.”

Mark said: “I started this company because I could not accept that a queue at the service desk was the best a customer could expect on a Monday morning. I had seen too many of my colleagues dealing with unnecessary pressure during peak periods, while customers were left waiting for a process that could be much simpler.

“10 years on, millions of those visits run through our software. Stepping out of the CEO role is not a step away from Tjekvik – it is how the company keeps moving.

“Martin has the commercial instinct and the discipline to take us from a strong product to a genuine platform, and I get to spend my time on what I enjoy most, which is building the next big thing.”
