Lookers has opened a new standalone flagship Cupra and Seat dealership in Newcastle.
Located on Railway Street, the site is the only authorised Cupra showroom in the city and represents the group’s fourth investment in the brand.
The opening reflects continued expansion of Cupra in the UK, where the brand recorded 41,000 sales last year, up 35% year-on-year.
The showroom brings together both brands under one roof, offering Cupra models including the Formentor, Born, Terramar, Tavascan and Leon, alongside Seat’s Ibiza, Arona and Leon. The Cupra Raval is due to arrive later this year.

Claire English, head of sales for Cupra and Seat UK, said the opening supports the brand’s wider UK growth plans.
She added: “Welcoming Newcastle to our growing Cupra family marks a key milestone as part of our nationwide expansion and the warmth of the welcome we’ve received in the city has been beyond our expectations.
“Our strong partnership with Lookers reflects our commitment to delivering outstanding customer service built on experience and an outstanding reputation and we’re looking forward to continued growth together.”
