Kia has released further details of its Seltos compact SUV ahead of its first European launch, confirming the model will be offered in the UK as a hybrid only.
The Seltos, one of Kia’s best-selling models globally, will sit between the Stonic and Sportage in the brand’s UK line-up when it arrives in Q4.
The Korean brand confirmed it would bring Seltos to the UK before the end of 2025.
Full pricing and specifications are due to be confirmed in Q3, with entry prices expected to start at around £30,000.

Positioned in the competitive compact SUV segment, the Seltos is expected to rival models including the Ford Puma, Renault Symbioz and Volkswagen T-Roc.
The model is based on the Hyundai Motor Group’s K3 platform, shared with the Niro and Hyundai Kona.
No EV version planned
Kia has confirmed there are no plans for a fully electric version.
The Seltos hybrid will be offered with a choice of two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The front-wheel drive version produces 154PS, while the all-wheel drive variant delivers 178PS and introduces Hyundai Motor Group’s e-AWD system to a Kia model for the first time.
It also marks the first application of vehicle-to-load technology on a hybrid model from the group, allowing external devices to be powered directly from the car.
Standard equipment will include a full suite of driver assistance systems such as highway driving assist, smart cruise control, lane following assist and a surround view monitor. Additional features include remote smart parking assist, parking collision avoidance assist reverse and parking distance warning.
Inside, the Seltos adopts Kia’s latest cabin layout, with a single panoramic display combining two 12.3-inch screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment system. A 5.3-inch climate display, panoramic roof, Harman Kardon audio system and 64-colour ambient lighting will also be available.
