Eyeballs to Datapoints, the Manchester company behind Automotive Insights, has acquired the business and key assets of automotive aftermarket intelligence specialist Factor Sales.
The deal expands Automotive Insights & Research Services beyond consumer market intelligence and into the parts, servicing and repair sector.
Factor Sales co-founder and technical director Isaac Shalaan and business development manager Sebastian de Pedro will join the Automotive Insights team following the acquisition.
Aftermarket intelligence added
Automotive Insights said the combination would allow it to provide data on what motorists are thinking and doing alongside intelligence about how the aftermarket is responding.
Nick Richardson, executive director of Automotive Insights & Research Services, said: “As a business we have made clear progress since our launch and have delighted clients and partners with our innovative approach.
“We are now excited to extend that impact into the aftermarket through the strategic acquisition of Factor Sales, a business that should aspire to be the mission-critical partner for any company that is serious about the aftermarket industry.”
Shalaan said: “We are delighted to be joining such a highly regarded insights specialist, one that is eager to invest, innovate and enhance our proposition. Their approach is both ambitious and measured, and I believe it can help firmly establish Factor Sales as the mission-critical partner for any company operating within the aftermarket.”
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
