Bentley has unveiled a highly specified launch version of the Torcal, its first EV.
The First Edition model features the most powerful powertrain in the Torcal range, with 888PS and 1,350Nm of torque, allowing 0-60mph acceleration in 2.8 seconds.
Exterior design features include carbon fibre front bumper winglets, mirror caps, side sills and rear diffuser, 22-inch First Edition wheels with a gloss black finish and silver spokes as well as self-levelling Bentley badges, Graphene Grey brake calipers by Mulliner and First Edition badging.

The interior features bespoke seat quilting with contrasting chevrons and illuminated First Edition treadplates, deep-pile carpets, ‘Wellness’ front seats and rear ‘Comfort’ seats, the latter including ventilation and plusher headrests for both outer rear seat occupants.
First Edition spec also includes a 1,780W, 28-speaker Naim audio system, powered front and rear doors and a frosted switchable sunroof.
Interior customisation options include the option to combine three colour schemes, and choose a full leather interior with contrast stitching.

£200k+ price expected
Bentley has not announced prices, however with the S version of the Torcal, which shares the First Edition’s powertrain, reportedly priced at £199,300, we’d expect the First Edition to comfortably clear £200,000.
As announced last month, the Torcal is five metres long, making it Bentley’s shortest four-door model, and offers a 460-litre boot and a 90-litre front storage area.
A 113kWh battery will allow a range of up to 375 miles between charges (First Edition range is not clear), while 400kW DC charging capability will facilitate 10-80% charge in less than 20 minutes. The battery is covered by a 10-year/100,000-mile warranty.
When driving, a ‘Dynamic Symphony’ featuring the sound of real musical instruments stands in for engine noise.
