Autoflows has been named premium sponsor of Automotive Management Live, which returns to the NEC, Birmingham, on November 11.
The automotive technology company will use the event to explain why dealers must address incomplete and inaccurate aftersales data before they can use artificial intelligence (AI) effectively.
Founded in Copenhagen in 2009, Autoflows works with dealers, OEMs, national sales companies and workshops to turn customer and vehicle data into targeted aftersales activity.
Autoflows combines its knowledge of integration, analytics and data to cleanse and optimise customer and vehicle information.
Once that foundation is in place, its AI technology can manage customers across inbound and outbound channels to help dealers increase aftersales revenue, profitability and retention.
Closing the loop on aftersales bookings
Workshops can then send information back into the dealer management system (DMS), closing the loop on aftersales bookings and reducing the need for dealership employees to complete additional administrative work.
Nicholas Malcolm, chief executive of Autoflows, explained: “The starting point is the underlying aftersales data. AI cannot deliver its full potential if the customer and vehicle information it is working with is incomplete, inaccurate or disconnected.”
He said Autoflows’ knowledge of integration, analytics and data enabled it to cleanse and optimise that information before applying AI.
This would allow the technology to manage inbound and outbound customer interactions more effectively, helping dealers increase revenue, profitability and retention.
Malcolm added: “The key difference is that the process does not stop when a message is sent or a lead is generated.
“The technology can complete the workshop booking and push the information back into the DMS, closing the loop for the dealer and the customer.”
Autoflows will use Automotive Management Live to demonstrate the approach through practical examples from dealers already using the technology.
Measuring AI against commercial outcomes
The company will also encourage dealer leaders to assess their technology investments against clear commercial outcomes, including response and booking rates, customer experience, retention, revenue and the amount of manual work removed from dealership teams.
Tim Rose, editor of AM, said: “This session is about investigating the tangible impacts technology can have right now for dealerships and their workshops.
“Autoflows’ focus on tackling the underlying aftersales data problem before applying AI gives dealers a practical route to improving customer retention, workshop revenue and profitability.
“Register now for Automotive Management Live to hear more from Autoflows during its session and discover the full programme of expert insight, practical advice and networking opportunities planned for this year’s event.”
