Tracker says it has secured several major dealer groups since Jennifer Davis joined the stolen vehicle recovery specialist as automotive sales director six months ago.

Davis has now been formally announced in the role, with responsibility for growing Tracker’s relationships across car dealerships, manufacturers, leasing businesses, brokers, rental companies and major fleets.

She has also established dedicated account management and new business teams, intended to improve customer support and identify further opportunities across the automotive sector.

Tracker’s renewed focus on dealerships builds on more than a decade of manufacturers and car retailers offering its stolen vehicle recovery products to customers at the point of purchase.

Dealer growth already under way

Tracker managing director Mark Rose said Davis and her sales team had already signed several major automotive dealer groups.

Rose said: “We were delighted to welcome Jennifer to Tracker and six months on, it’s clear what a great fit she is for the team. Her commercial expertise and sector relationships across the manufacturer, retailer, fleet and leasing markets are already delivering results, with Jennifer and her sales team signing several major new automotive dealer groups as part of a renewed drive for new business.

“We’re looking forward to seeing that momentum continue as she brings her experience to our work with rental companies, brokers and corporate and public sector fleets.”

Davis previously held senior roles at LeasePlan and KINTO, formerly Inchcape Fleet Solutions, giving her experience across vehicle leasing, fleet management and manufacturer relationships.

Fleet and leasing push broadens

Alongside expanding Tracker’s dealership presence, Davis will be responsible for extending its vehicle security proposition across corporate fleets, emergency services and passenger and commercial vehicle rental and leasing companies.

Davis said: “Joining Tracker is a fantastic opportunity. I’m looking forward to bringing my expertise in working with automotive manufacturers and retailers, as well as major corporate fleets, emergency services and passenger and commercial vehicle rental and leasing companies, to the role.

“These businesses can protect their assets while offering genuine value and peace of mind to customers, whether they are consumers, corporates or public sector organisations.

“What makes Tracker unique is its position as the only stolen vehicle recovery provider with a formal police relationship, alongside its advanced GPS, GSM and VHF technology designed to overcome even the most sophisticated, organised crime operations.

Tracker said the combination of GPS, mobile communications and VHF technology is intended to help locate stolen vehicles even when criminals attempt to block conventional tracking signals.
