AION is backing the launch of its new UT electric hatchback with 0% finance and a £500 test drive contribution designed to generate showroom visits.
AION dealers across the UK will begin offering UT test drives this weekend and customers who complete a test drive and place an order during September will qualify for the £500 contribution.
The UT is AION’s second UK model following the introduction of the AION V electric SUV in the spring. Its arrival takes the brand into the B-segment hatchback market, broadening the choice available through its dealerships as AION builds awareness and expands its network in the UK.
Finance offer drives showroom visits
Priced from £28,950 on the road, the AION UT is available during September from £349 per month at 0% APR through AION Financial Services.
The PCP offer is based on a deposit of £1,949 and includes the £500 AION contribution for eligible customers who take a test drive and order the car during September.
It is based on a 48-month agreement with an annual mileage allowance of 6,000 miles. Eligible vehicles must be ordered during September and delivered by October 31, subject to availability, finance approval and the applicable terms and conditions.
The UT has a claimed WLTP combined range of 268 miles, which AION describes as class-leading, with a 30% to 80% rapid charge taking 24 minutes. Its chassis has also been tuned specifically for UK roads.
Warranty strengthens dealer offer
AION is supporting the car with its Great 8 Promise, which includes an eight-year vehicle warranty, eight years of servicing, eight years of roadside assistance and MOTs until the car is eight years old.
The package is tied to the vehicle identification number and transfers to subsequent owners. This gives dealership sales teams a long-term ownership proposition to discuss with customers and could support the vehicle’s appeal when it later enters the used car market.

Servicing, maintenance and repair coverage will also be available through its partnership with the AA. The arrangement includes accredited workshops and more than 140 mobile service technicians, helping the brand provide nationwide aftersales support while its physical network grows.
AION Auto UK is a joint venture between Chinese manufacturer GAC Group and international automotive distributor Jameel Motors.
