Automotive industry charity Ben is inviting dealers, manufacturers, suppliers and other sector professionals to compete in its new Fantasy Football League.

The competition, sponsored by Pagid and Varta, will be run through the official Fantasy Premier League platform as part of the charity’s Do It 4 Ben fundraising campaign.

Participants can enter for a minimum one-off donation of £5, with the money raised helping Ben support people who work or have worked in the automotive industry and their families.

The overall winner will receive £500, with £250 awarded for second place and £100 for third place. A £50 prize will also be awarded to a winner each month throughout the season.

Fantasy league cash prizes

Ben said the competition was open to both experienced Fantasy Premier League players and people taking part for the first time.

Entrants will build and manage their own teams, competing against colleagues and other automotive industry professionals throughout the Premier League season.

Ellen Plumer, head of awareness & experience at Ben, said: “We’re very excited to be bringing our automotive family together in the ultimate fantasy football competition and we can’t wait for it to kick off. Whether you’re football-mad or completely new to fantasy football, our league is open to everyone. There’s always something to play for, thanks to our monthly cash prizes, in addition to the big end of season prizes.

“This is all about bringing the automotive community together in an engaging and competitive way while raising funds to support those who are struggling, or in crisis. We hope you’ll join us!”

Ian Brooks, head of sales & trade marketing at TMD Friction UK, said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring Ben’s Fantasy Football League and bringing automotive industry people together through some friendly competition. Ben’s Fantasy Football initiative is the perfect way to have fun, connect with colleagues and peers across our sector, as well as raising vital funds so Ben can continue providing life-changing support to those who need it most.”

Fundraising for automotive people

Jeremy Tollman, national sales manager & senior sales lead for the UK and Ireland at Clarios EMEA and Varta, said: “We’re very proud to support Ben’s Fantasy Football League, joining forces with our automotive family for a fun-filled season of competition and camaraderie. We can’t wait to bring people together, spark some friendly rivalries and support the incredible work Ben does for automotive people and their families. There’s everything to play for, so sign up now and see if you’ve got what it takes to go all the way to the final whistle!”

The Fantasy Football League forms part of Ben’s wider programme of fundraising activities during 2026.

Upcoming events include the Thames Bridges Trek on September 12, Ben’s Big Breakfast from October 5 to 11, the ASICS Manchester Half on October 4 and Run Fest at Silverstone on November 22.

Ben also encourages automotive businesses and individuals to organise their own walks, cycle rides, marathons, skydives and endurance events through its Do It 4 Ben programme.
