Skoda’s new Peaq fully electric seven-seat flagship SUV will be priced from £51,980 when order books open in September.

The new model becomes the largest electric vehicle in the Czech brand’s line-up, offering up to 390 miles of WLTP range and a maximum luggage capacity of 2,075 litres with the rear seats folded.

Measuring almost 4.9 metres in length, the Peaq adopts design cues already seen on the Enyaq, Elroq and Epiz models.

Customers will be able to choose between two powertrain variants, the 90 and 90x, delivering outputs of between 286PS and 299PS. Both versions use an 86kWh (net) battery, the largest battery pack yet fitted to a Skoda electric vehicle.

The Peaq 90 supports DC rapid charging at up to 199kW, enabling a 10% to 80% charge in around 28 minutes when connected to a suitable charger.

The SUV also features vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, allowing owners to power external electrical devices such as e-bikes, camping equipment or caravans directly from the vehicle’s battery.

Inside, drivers are provided with a 10-inch digital instrument display and a 13.6-inch vertically mounted infotainment touchscreen. An augmented reality head-up display is scheduled to join the range as an option from 2027.
