Autoclenz has completed its transition to a wholly employee-owned business through the creation of Autoclenz EOT Ltd, alongside a series of senior leadership promotions.

The Swadlincote-based company, which provides outsourced vehicle valeting and preparation services to car dealerships, rental firms and auction houses, said the move is designed to support long-term continuity for customers and strengthen its operating model.

The business has more than 50 years of trading history and employs over 140 staff.

As part of the restructure, Martin Ward will move from managing director to chief executive officer after a decade in the role.

Five senior promotions have been confirmed. Martin Peters becomes managing director, Steve Jones is appointed regional retail director for the Midlands and South, Justin Jones becomes director of rental and logistics UK, Jon Harding is named operations director, and Kevin Armstrong becomes regional retail director for the North.

Further appointments include Jev Derevianko as head of South Central retail, Andrei Soric as head of South West retail, and Rayno Simpson as head of business for rental and logistics.

Martin Peters, managing director, said: “The move to employee ownership provides a strong platform for future growth, aligning our people with the long-term success of the business. It creates the right environment to build on our existing strengths, expand our capabilities and continue delivering high-quality service to our customers.

“We also have a highly experienced and capable leadership team in place, whose collective expertise and commitment will be key to driving the business forward in this next phase.”

He added: “Our management and leadership teams will drive the business forward as Autoclenz enters an exciting new chapter, underpinned by employee ownership, strengthened leadership and a clear focus on sustainable growth.

“I’d also like to extend my thanks to all employees for their ongoing dedication and contribution. We have lots of further developments planned, watch this space.”
