Toyota has confirmed UK specs and prices for the new, sixth-generation version of its Rav4 SUV.
The model will come as standard with plug-in hybrid power, allowing an all-electric range of up to 85 miles.

There will be a choice of four trim levels at launch: Icon, Design, Excel and GR Sport. Icon and Design specs will come with front-wheel drive, Excel with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and GR Sport with all-wheel drive only.
On-the-road pricing will start at £43,853 with Icon trim, and rise to £45,745 with Design spec, £50,045 with the Excel trim with front-wheel drive, £52,045 with the GR Sport trim, and £52,390 with the Excel trim with all-wheel drive.
Orders for the new Rav4 will open in early May. The first customer deliveries are expected in June.

Standard equipment with Icon trim will include 18in alloy wheels, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an electric tailgate, a 12.9in touchscreen and a blind spot monitoring system.
Design spec gains 20in black alloy wheels, a bi-tone exterior paint finish, power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats, a driver’s seat memory system and wireless smartphone charging.
Further features with Excel spec will include 20in machined/black alloy wheels, leather upholstery a head-up display, an additional wireless smartphone charger, a JBL audio system, and a front cross traffic alert system.
The GR Sport version will feature motorsports-inspired spec, including lightweight 20in alloy wheels, a tuned chassis and suspension, and GR-style elements including the front grille, steering wheel and front seats.
