Xpeng has officially launched new European versions of its G6 and G9 electric SUVs with deliveries expected to begin later this summer.
Both the G6 and G9 offer 800V architecture and the car maker’s proprietary 5C supercharging AI battery, enabling charging from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes.
Charging power peaks at 451 kW for the G6 and 525 kW for the G9 – positioning them as the fastest-charging EVs in their classes. The G9 is capable of up to 585 km range and the G6 reaching 535 km (WLTP).
Measuring 4,758 mm in length, the G6 – which made its dynamic public debut at this week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed – features design upgrade features including a wide LED light bar, recontoured rear diffuser, and a new ‘ducktail’ rear. The redesigned cabin introduces a suede-effect ceiling, wood-grain dash trim, and new steering wheel.
Front seats are heated, ventilated, and massage while rear seats offer 12-way reclining. Boot space is up to 1,374 litres when rear seats are folded. With dimensions of 4,891 mm in length and a wheelbase of 2,998 mm, the G9 offers a 660-litre boot and 71-litre forward storage.
The vehicle also incorporates a segment-first triple-silver panoramic glass roof that blocks 99.99% of UV rays to reduce cabin heat.
Both models feature fully automated parking, reverse tracking, and remote vehicle summon, which can be activated via smartphone or smart key.
To help buyers tailor their vehicles, Xpeng has launched a new digital configurator alongside the sales rollout.
