Volvo Car UK has appointed Matt Benns as its new commercial operations director, with responsibility for new, used and fleet sales, alongside network development and aftersales.
Benns will join the business on 30 March 2026 and report to managing director Nicole Melillo Shaw, as part of the UK executive management team.
He joins after the departure of Rob Deane at the start of the year.
Benn’s remit includes Volvo’s direct-to-consumer offering, reflecting the brand’s continued focus on evolving its retail model.
He joins from ELLA Digital, where he served as chief executive, and has previously held roles at Auto.Works, Keyloop, Connect Auto, Volkswagen Group UK and Mazda UK.
