Farmers and ranchers are already gearing up for a new year of agriculture trade shows and conferences that will showcase the latest in farm technology and provide insight into the future of the industry.
Events throughout 2025 will touch on policy, sustainability, trade and other issues central to agricultural stakeholders. Shows will also highlight the latest in agriculture technology and innovation, offering attendees a first look at the next generation of farm equipment.

Top agriculture conferences in 2025
American Farm Bureau Convention
Jan. 24-29
Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio
The American Farm Bureau Federation’s yearly conference is the “go-to” event for farmers to connect and learn about the economic and policy trends set to define the year. Eric Boles, a motivational speaker, author and former wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets, is scheduled to be the keynote speaker.
International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE)
Jan. 28-30
Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta
The conference touts itself as the world’s largest trade show for anyone involved in the processing of eggs, meat, poultry, and feed. The most recent event attracted over 31,000 registered attendees from 133 countries, and more than 1,100 exhibitors have already committed to participating in the 2025 expo.
CattleCon
Feb. 4-6
Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio
The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association says its yearly trade show is “where the beef industry meets.” Ranchers from around the country attend this event to connect with fellow producers, explore new technology and get the latest in cattle care and handling.
There will also likely be hats. Lots of cowboy hats.
World Ag Expo
Feb. 11-13
International Agri-Center, Tulare, California
Billing itself as one of the world’s largest outdoor agricultural expositions, this event brings over 100,000 people from around the world to learn about the latest in agricultural technology and equipment. In addition to more than 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space, the show features seminars “on a variety of topics important to dairy producers, farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness professionals.”
National Farm Machinery Show
Feb. 12-15
Kentucky Exposition Center, Louisville, Kentucky
This is the largest indoor farm trade show in the United States, with hundreds of exhibitors displaying cutting-edge agricultural products, equipment and services. Nearly every farming equipment brand will be on display, show organizers say, which allows attendees to compare products side by side.
USDA Agricultural Outlook Forum
Feb. 27-28
Crystal Gateway Marriott, Arlington, Virginia
The Agriculture Department’s largest annual gathering draws a diverse group of farmers and food industry representatives to get the inside scoop on policy priorities and economic outlooks. Last year’s event, entitled “Cultivating the Future,” included speakers and topics from across the agricultural industry, delving into issues including climate-smart agriculture and expanding farm trade.
Commodity Classic
March 2-4
Colorado Convention Center, Denver
This farmer-led event brings together the wheat, corn, soybeans and sorghum industries in one place to experience the latest in technology innovations. The show has seen record-breaking attendance in the past two years, and the 2025 event will include a new format with approximately 30 educational sessions on the newest farming technologies to be added.
Indoor Ag-Con
March 11-12
Westgate Las Vegas Casino & Resort, Las Vegas
The largest event for the emerging vertical farming industry is back at a new location and with an expanded program. The 2025 event — which is open to growers of produce, cannabis, hemp and non-food crops — will be held in conjunction with the Controlled Environment Agriculture Alliance’s annual meeting, and CEAA will present a “state of the industry” report outlining challenges and opportunities for the sector.
World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit
March 11-12
Marriott Marquis, San Francisco
Agribusinesses, technology giants, food brands and farmers come together for one of the sector’s biggest gatherings for breakthrough innovations in agriculture.
The two-day event includes information sessions and speaker talks all around the future of food, and past conferences have delved into themes including CRISPR cultivation, decarbonization, embracing automation and scaling venture investment.
Regenerative Agriculture Summit North America
March 25-27
Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile, Chicago
Back for its third year, this event looks to accelerate the transition to regenerative agriculture by bringing together players across the food system supply chain. Speakers include sustainability experts from global food giants such as Danone, plus other leaders who can provide insight into corporate partnerships, building frameworks to measure environmental impact and more.
World Pork Expo
June 4-5
Iowa State Fairgrounds, Des Moines, Iowa
The National Pork Producers Council expansive trade show brings together pork producers and industry professionals from around the world for a wide range of educational seminars and networking opportunities.
AgTC Annual Meeting
June 16-19
Greater Tacoma Convention Center, Tacoma, Washington
This event is for agricultural importers and exporters to dive deep into supply chain issues, including the latest in ocean, trucking and rail shipping. The 2024 event gave members direct access to policymakers in an off-the-record briefing with FMC Commissioner Rebecca Dye.
Farm Progress Show
Aug. 26-28
Decatur, Illinois
This is one of the largest outdoor farm shows in the U.S., and is one of the best ways for farmers to access some of the most innovative technology and products from both established brands and startups. The event also regularly brings in major policymakers, with the 2024 show featuring Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and members of the House Agriculture Committee.
World Dairy Expo
Sept. 30-Oct. 3
Alliant Energy Center, Madison, Wisconsin
The world’s largest dairy-themed trade show features new products, research and services all meant to help “today’s producers become more profitable.” The 2024 event also featured insight into sustainable dairy production, cattle health and more.
Global Produce and Floral Show
Oct. 16-18
Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California
The International Fresh Produce Association’s annual show is aimed at all players in the fresh floral and produce supply chains. The event offers networking opportunities and showcases the latest tech and services to help farms expand and become more profitable.
