Regional car dealer group Thurlow Nunn is to celebrate its landmark 150th anniversary with a series of events throughout the year.

Founded in 1875 by George Thurlow in Stowmarket, Suffolk, Thurlow Nunn is part of the Thurlow Nunn Group, a sixth-generation family-owned business with deep roots in the agricultural sector.

The dealership group operates across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire and sells new and used Vauxhall, Peugeot, MG, Hyundai, and Leapmotor vehicles.

As part of its anniversary celebrations, the Thurlow Nunn Group is committed to raising £150,000 for Dementia UK, a cause close to the family’s heart. James Thurlow, the current chairman of the group, lost his father, John Thurlow, to dementia last June.

Will Tew, managing director of Thurlow Nunn, commented: “This milestone is a huge achievement for us, and we are incredibly proud of the legacy created by six generations of the Thurlow family. While we celebrate our history, we are also looking toward the future with excitement, especially as we raise funds to support Dementia UK in honour of my father’s memory.”
