A technician working at an MOT centre in Hull has been jailed for numerous offences, including threatening a colleague with a knife.

Hull Crown Court heard that Thomas Moulds left his workmate terrified after he threatened him with a blade at their workplace and later messaged him to say he was “a dead man”.

After the incident in April 2023 the workshop owned fired Moulds, but Moulds couldn’t comprehend why he’d been fired and not the other guy, and wanted revenge and again threatened he would rip his throat out.

Police officers found Mould acting aggressively in Barham Road and had to taser him before arresting him.

Weeks later, Moulds committed further offences, including exposing himself to a woman and assaulting her, reports the Hull Daily Mail.

Moulds admitted to offences of threatening with an offensive weapon, harassment, and criminal damage. He was convicted after trials of racially aggravated threatening behaviour, assault, exposure, and sexual assault.

The court was told Moulds had no previous convictions, but his life had spiralled out of control, including the end of a relationship and finding it hard to secure employment.

Moulds, of Elm Tree Farm Road, Burstwick, was jailed for two years and seven months. He was given a 10-year restraining order.
