Suzuki has unveiled a self-funded incentive designed to mirror the recently reintroduced Electric Car Grant (ECG) in readiness for the UK launch of the all-new Suzuki e Vitara this autumn.

The limited-time ‘Suzuki Granted’ offer, available immediately until 31 December, applies to the entire five-model e Vitara range and delivers a £3,750 customer saving – equivalent to the higher-level ECG – plus a free Ohme home charger.

With ‘Suzuki Granted’, the entry-level 49kWh Motion 2WD model is priced at £26,249, running up to the 61kWh Ultra 2WD at £32,049.

Commenting on the announcement, David Kateley, director, automobile at Suzuki GB, said: “This offer represents the full grant amount to give clarity to our customers, and the announcement of Suzuki Granted truly supports our vision to be the trusted car brand for those who are proud to be different.”

The ALLGRIP-e variant, Suzuki’s all-new electric four-wheel-drive system uses independent front and rear motors, and positions the e Vitara as one of the few EV SUVs on the market to offer 4WD capability and is available with the 61kWh battery in both Motion and Ultra trim levels.

Suzuki has also confirmed a 2.9% APR PCP offer available at launch. For example, the 61kWh Motion 2WD, with a WLTP range of 264 miles, is available with a £4,830 deposit and monthly payments of £299 over 48 months, with an optional final payment to retain ownership.

e Vitara also launches with up to 10 years’ vehicle warranty, and up to 10 years’ EV battery warranty – two years more than the legal requirement.

The e Vitara is the first of five new EV models Suzuki plans to launch in Europe by 2030.
