A new Škoda dealership in Newport has been opened by Sinclair Group, following its acquisition of the previous Škoda franchise in the city.
Sinclair Group has relocated the business, formerly operated by Mon Motors, to Corporation Road, where the all-new Sinclair Škoda Newport will operate alongside the existing Volkswagen dealer.
The move is said to follow a ‘significant investment’ in the four-acre plot, with a new-look showroom and purpose-built service centre.
Both brands have their own dedicated sales areas, with the Škoda showroom featuring halo models accompanied by a digital information stand, and an interactive configuration screen.

Sinclair Group builds on Škoda association
The Newport franchise is Sinclair Group’s second Škoda dealership, joining its existing operation in Swansea.

Sinclair Škoda Newport is being staffed by a team of ten, including several who have transferred from the previous Mon Motors business. It is being overseen by Adam Lewis, head of franchise for Sinclair Škoda, who also oversees the Swansea site.
