Renault has revised its electric Megane E-Tech and Scenic E-Tech models, introducing lower prices, simplified trim levels, and new standard features aimed at improving value and appeal.
Both models will now be offered in three streamlined trims: Techno, Techno Esprit Alpine, and Iconic Esprit Alpine.
The Megane E-Tech retains its 217PS electric motor and 60kWh battery, delivering a range of up to 285 miles on a single charge. Pricing for the updated model now starts from £32,495.
The Scenic E-Tech will be exclusively available with the 87kWh Long Range battery, giving it a WLTP range of up to 381 miles – the highest of any Renault EV to date. Despite the enhanced spec, pricing starts from £37,195, undercutting the outgoing Comfort Range model, which offered a smaller battery at a higher cost.
As part of the update, both cars now come equipped with One Pedal driving and a vehicle-to-load (V2L) function as standard across the range. The V2L capability allows owners to power external electric devices directly from the car’s battery – a feature becoming increasingly popular with EV drivers.
Orders for the revised Megane E-Tech and Scenic E-Tech are expected to open by the end of April.
