Premier Motors is preparing to expand its franchise portfolio after confirming plans to open a new Peugeot showroom at its Riverway dealership on the Isle of Wight.
The business, which forms part of Greenhous Group, will introduce the French brand alongside its existing Ford cars and vans and MG franchises.
The dedicated Peugeot showroom is to open this month to coincide with the arrival of the new 26-registration plate.
Peugeot offers a comprehensive range of nine passenger cars from the 208 supermini to the versatile eight-seat E-Traveller with 8-year/100,000-mile Peugeot Care coverage on both battery and vehicle across its core electric passenger car range.
Premier Motors, long known locally as Premier Ford prior to the addition of the MG franchise in 2021, was acquired by Greenhous Group in 2019.
In addition to being an established supplier of new and used vehicles, the Riverway site has a comprehensive aftersales operation, including a busy parts and service department, an accredited accident repair centre and a car and van hire business.
The site’s Van Centre service department is also a specialist provider of repair and maintenance services for the Isle of Wight NHS ambulance fleet.
The addition of a third franchise is expected to create new employment opportunities across both sales and service departments, supporting the local economy.
