AI platform provider Phyron has been named in the Financial Times’ FT1000 ranking of Europe’s fastest growing companies, highlighting the growing role of artificial intelligence across automotive retail.

The company ranked 394th overall, placing it among the fastest-growing technology businesses in Europe and within the IT and software category, Phyron ranked 81st in the 2026 list.

The FT1000 ranking, compiled by the Financial Times in partnership with Statista, measures company revenue growth between 2021 and 2024.

AI tools reshape dealer marketing

Phyron achieved a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 50% during the period measured by the ranking, tripling its revenue and doubling its workforce between 2021 and 2024.

The company said the growth reflects the increasing reliance on automation by dealers as they look to manage vehicle marketing across multiple digital channels.

Mattias Kellquist, CEO of Phyron, said the pace of change in automotive retail is accelerating as dealers adopt new AI-driven tools.

“Automotive retail has changed dramatically in the last few years. Dealers now need to publish and market vehicles online almost instantly, across multiple channels, and at a scale that simply isn’t possible manually.

AI is becoming a core part of how dealerships operate. The strong growth we’ve seen reflects that shift as dealers look for automated ways to present vehicles online, produce video, and keep their digital inventory up to date.”

Phyron plans new platform rollout

The FT1000 identifies the European companies that achieved the highest revenue growth between 2021 and 2024 using verified company revenue data.

To be included in the 2026 ranking, companies were required to meet minimum revenue thresholds and demonstrate primarily organic growth, with a minimum growth rate of 17%.

Phyron’s inclusion reflects the growing role of AI in automotive retail operations, particularly in areas such as vehicle video production, digital merchandising and online inventory management.

The company said further adoption is expected later this year with the launch of Phyron 2.0, which is designed to support dealerships looking to scale digital marketing activity using AI-powered automation.
