Swedish-UK video tech specialist Phyron has launched its first AI-guided photography app, designed to streamline the ad creation process.

The app helps users capture high-quality car images quickly and consistently, allowing for the production of polished AI-enhanced imagery and video ads.

Phyron CEO Johan Sundstrand explained that photographing new stock can be labour-intensive, but Phyron’s app removes the guesswork from capturing perfect shots.

“Photographing new stock is a time-consuming process for an automotive retailer. Getting the perfect angle that showcases the car’s lines and proportions is a real skill. The Phyron app empowers photographers of all skill levels, making it possible for anyone to capture consistent, accurate photos in record time,” he said.

The app’s AI assistant provides intuitive guides for taking ideal images, which are then uploaded to Phyron’s platform.

The platform instantly creates optimized videos and enhanced still images tailored for social media and ad campaigns, complete with vehicle details and dealer branding, all fully automated.

“Our AI will even add the vehicle’s unique selling points and the dealership’s logo before placing the video into a classified ad or buying ad space, all 100% automated with zero human involvement,” Sundstrand added.

This innovation complements Phyron’s existing suite of AI-powered tools that help dealers sell cars faster with features which include VIN scanning for vehicle identification, workflow optimisation tools, and metrics tracking to monitor sales speed.

Since launching in 2021, Phyron has over 3,000 dealer clients across 30 countries and more than 500 million views on its AI-driven videos with clients like Simpson Skoda reporting a 24% increase in sales since adopting Phyron’s automated video solutions.

Sundstrand noted that: “Until now creating studio quality videos for every car on a dealership’s forecourt would have taken a huge team of people working flat out. Phyron’s fully automated AI-powered software can do it all in minutes, with zero human input.”
