Pendragon Vehicle Management has launched a new salary sacrifice scheme designed to support businesses in attracting and retaining top talent through tax-efficient, sustainable vehicle benefits for employees.

The initiative combines rapid vehicle delivery, a fully digital user experience, and employee protection.

The scheme has already gained traction, with early adopters including The Royal Mint, A.F. Blakemore, AVCO, and Targa Telematics.

Backed by Lithia UK, which owns dealerships groups Stratstone and Evans Halshaw, Pendragon’s scheme offers “ready to go” vehicles that can be delivered to employees in under a working week.

Employees also benefit from access to over 150 retail sites for test drives, and the ability to sell their current vehicles directly to the Stratstone or Evans Halshaw networks.

“We are fully focused on simplifying salary sacrifice for all parties,” said Phil Wilbraham, managing director of Pendragon Vehicle Management. “This is a disruptive, value-rich offering that provides speed, convenience and flexibility – unlike anything else currently on the market.”

The scheme includes a home wall charger from Pod Point and the Life Shield protection package to cover events such as maternity leave, long-term sickness, resignation, and redundancy.

David Jackson, Pendragon Vehicle Management commercial director who joined earlier this year from Octopus Electric Vehicles, added: “This new scheme streamlines the salary sacrifice journey. Thanks to our national infrastructure, we’re uniquely positioned to deliver vehicles quickly, while also supporting businesses with a comprehensive service package.”

An updated online portal simplifies the employee experience by enabling fast car selection, easy financial comparisons, and visibility into carbon savings and centralises everything employers and employees need to participate in the scheme.

Pendragon Vehicle Management operates a commercial fleet of more than 12,000 vehicles across the UK.
