Omoda UK has confirmed its first full hybrid model for the UK with the launch of the Omoda 5 SHS-H, available to order from March 2026.

The new model marks a further expansion of the brand’s electrified line-up and will sit alongside the existing Omoda 5 petrol and Omoda E5 electric models.

The Omoda 5 SHS-H is offered in two trim levels, Knight and Noble, with prices starting from £25,740.

Powered by a 1.5 litre turbo full hybrid system with a dedicated automatic transmission, the Omoda 5 SHS-H is designed to deliver efficient everyday driving without the need to plug in.

The powertrain delivers a combined output of up to 150 kW, a 0 to 62 mph time of 7.9 seconds and a total driving range of more than 650 miles.

The model uses a 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine paired with a 1.83 kWh battery and a 51 litre fuel tank, with fuel economy of up to 53 mpg on the WLTP cycle.

Visually, the Omoda 5 SHS-H retains the established styling of the Omoda 5, with a revised front grille and bumper design and updated alloy wheels for 2026.

Five exterior colours are available, with two-tone finishes offered on selected options.

Standard specification on the Knight trim includes 18-inch alloy wheels, full LED lighting, dual 12.3-inch digital displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, intelligent voice control and a full suite of driver assistance and safety systems.

Noble adds features such as a 540-degree surround view camera, SONY audio system, ambient lighting, heated and ventilated front seats and additional comfort and convenience equipment.

The Omoda 5 SHS-H will be available through the brand’s 101-strong dealer network.
