Omoda and Jaecoo have revealed images of its Jaecoo 5 EV and detailed how the brand is trialling a new robotic dealership sales assistant.
The Chinese brands also showcased the new Omoda 7 hybrid at the Shanghai Motor Show.
UK dealerships that have partnered with Omoda and Jaecoo will see their model line-ups expand this year with the Omoda 9 Super Hybrid System (SHS) joining in June, before the Omoda 7 SHS and Jaecoo 5 follow in August.

The Shanghai show also presented the opportunity to showcase Omoda’s Mornine AiMOGA Robot.
The humanoid robot can apparently do everything from serving drinks, lead guided dealership tours and talk about the latest Omoda and Jaecoo models.
Mornine can also perform other dealer administrative tasks and reception style services.
The sales robot has a bionic motion system and automotive-grade hardware to support “upright walking and dexterous hand operations”.
So far, the AiMOGA Robot is in testing phase as an “intelligent sales consultant” and has been used by an Omoda and Jaecoo dealer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
There is no update of when Mornine may land on UK shores however, the brand said it acts as a showcase for what is possible when “AI is by your side”.
