The National Association of Motor Auctions (NAMA) has outlined a series of strategic developments at its 2025 Annual General Meeting, including refreshed branding.
Among the key announcements at the meeting, which was held at an event in Portugal, was the official introduction of a Licensed Auctioneer Scheme, designed to set out recognised standards of professionalism, ethics, and auctioneering expertise.
The scheme aims to enhance consistency and trust across the vehicle remarketing sector.
NAMA also confirmed the continued rollout of its Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) Grading Scheme, a framework intended to bring greater transparency and confidence to LCV transactions.
The grading system is expected to assist both buyers and sellers in making more informed decisions.
Training and professional development were another focal point, with the Training and Education Committee presenting plans to expand upskilling opportunities.
The initiative is aimed at supporting recruitment and retention in the remarketing sector by enhancing career pathways.
Delegates also received a market overview from CAP HPI, offering analysis of current trends and future market conditions in light of ongoing economic challenges.
The UK’s leading event for motor retailers returns in 2025.
