Marshall Motor Group will open a new Nissan dealership at Cambridge, its original heartland, later this summer.

The top 10 AM100 dealer group has taken back the territory exactly 10 years since it sold Nissan Cambridge to Glyn Hopkin as the then Marshall boss Daksh Gupta rebalanced Marshall’s portfolio of mainstream and premium brands.

Then in 2015 Glyn Hopkin opened a new brand centre on Cambridge’s Newmarket Road to house the Nissan dealership and new Jeep and Fiat franchises.

The new Marshall Nissan Cambridge dealership will open in late summer at Marshall’s large dealership complex opposite Cambridge Airport and the dealer group said it will create 20 jobs.

The dealership will comprise a six car showroom, an exterior display area for 40 used vehicles, and 8 bay workshop, a hub of electric charging points, a customer lounge, and a coffee bar.
