Littelfuse, Inc. of Rosemont, IL has introduced the LF53466 and LF53464 magnetic angle sensors, designed for high-precision 0–360° angular measurement in harsh industrial, automotive, and consumer environments.

The LF53466 and LF53464 sensors use Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) technology for contactless angular position detection along both X and Y axes. They are built to provide high reliability and accuracy where robust, thermally stable, and space-efficient angle measurement is critical.

Features & Benefits:

  • Full 360° angle measurement using dual-axis TMR sensing
  • Very low angular error:
    • LF53466: < 0.8° (TSSOP8 package)
    • LF53464: < 0.6° (LGA8L package)
  • Enhanced thermal drift compensation
  • Wide supply voltage compatibility
  • Dual push-pull Wheatstone bridge configuration for output stability
  • Compact packaging for flexible integration
  • Differential output signal for better EMI immunity

These sensors are ideal for the following application areas:

  • Industrial Automation & Robotics: Joysticks, robotic arm control, valve position sensing
  • Mobility & Off-Highway Vehicles: Pedal and steering angle detection
  • Consumer Electronics: Power tools, appliance knobs, smart home devices
  • Precision Control Systems: Contactless potentiometers, motor feedback, and HMI interfaces

Packaging options:

  • LF53466: 3000 pcs per reel
  • LF53464: 4000 pcs per reel
