Boston, MA – The LEGO Group officially opened its new state-of-the-art office at the Lyrik, 1001 Boylston Street, which will be the company’s new U.S. Hub and support its ongoing commitment to reaching more children across the U.S. with LEGO play.
Located in Boston’s Back Bay, the new location will be home to a team that will grow to over 800 colleagues responsible for driving the LEGO Group’s long-term growth ambitions in the U.S. and the broader Americas region.
Spanning more than 157,000 square feet over six floors, the office design also supports wellbeing, accessibility and sustainability.
The space is LEED Gold and WELL Gold certified and features over 660 workstations, complimentary gym access, parents’ rooms and flexible wellness areas for employees to engage in activities like meditation, prayer and relaxation. Common spaces, sky terraces and 90-plus meeting spaces support team connection and collaborative working, and provide a workplace with capacity for continued growth.
The opening marks the latest milestone in the LEGO Group’s investment in the United States. The company will open a factory and regional distribution center in Virginia in 2027, where it will employ around 2,000 people.
The company also has Hubs in Copenhagen, Singapore, Shanghai and London, 37 sales offices and six factories globally, employing over 31,000 people around the world.
