KGM has expanded its range with the launch of the Rexton Commercial – a new commercial variant of its established Rexton SUV.

Offering a 2,200-litre loadspace and a payload capacity exceeding 700kg, the Rexton Commercial has been adapted for business use with a full-height fixed mesh bulkhead and opaque reinforced rear windows for enhanced security.

The load area comes carpeted as standard, with an optional rubber mat available as an accessory.

Fully GB type-approved, the Rexton Commercial benefits from commercial vehicle Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) taxation rules, qualifies for VAT reclamation, is eligible for capital write-down, and carries a first-year VED of £345.

Under the bonnet, a 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine delivers 202PS and 441Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Built on a robust ladder chassis, the Rexton Commercial offers towing capacity of 3,500kg (750kg unbraked). Stability when towing is enhanced by Trailer Sway Control (TSC), which detects and corrects trailer sway automatically.

Selectable all-wheel drive offers versatility, allowing drivers to switch between 2WD, 4WD High (4H), and 4WD Low (4L) depending on road conditions. When engaged, torque is evenly distributed between the front and rear axles.

The entry-level K30 version is highly specified, featuring 18-inch alloy wheels, a powered tailgate, full LED lighting, heated and ventilated faux leather seats, and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen.

Moving up the range, the K40 adds premium Nappa leather upholstery, LED cabin mood lighting, and additional driver assistance technologies such as blind spot detection and rear cross-traffic warning.

At the top of the line, the K50 builds on the K40 specification with 20-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof, rear air conditioning, and upgraded leather and suede upholstery.

Pricing for the Rexton Commercial starts at £34,995 OTR for the K30 model. The K40 is priced at £35,995, while the K50 is available from £38,995.
