Jigcar appoints industry veteran Jon Pollock as commercial chief

AI-powered vehicle logistics start-up Jigcar has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Jon Pollock as commercial director.

Pollock brings over three decades of experience in the automotive industry, having held a series of senior sales roles at McLaren Automotive, Nissan Motor GB, Toyota GB, and Aston Martin.

Elliott Perks, CEO and co-founder of Jigcar, said: “Having worked with Jon on a consultancy basis since Jigcar first went to market, we’re delighted to welcome him formally into the management team. His industry expertise has already played a key role in Jigcar’s early success, and he’ll be instrumental as we expand our presence across the dealer and fleet sectors.”

Pollock, added: “After over 30 years in the corporate automotive world, it’s a privilege to be joining this young, dynamic start-up. My focus will be on deepening Jigcar’s reach across the UK’s top 100 dealer groups and forging partnerships with OEMs, rental companies, and leasing providers.”

Pollock’s appointment follows a series of high-profile leadership additions at Jigcar, including Simon Bottomley as chairman and James Griffin, former head of logistics at Cazoo, as transport director.
