JCT600 has expanded its presence in East Yorkshire with the opening of a new JCT600 Approved Centre in Hull, creating jobs and increasing access to used vehicles across the Humber region.

The AM100 dealership group has launched the new dealership at Priory Tec Park in Hessle, where it opened a Changan showroom earlier this month. As part of the changes at the site, JCT600’s Volkswagen van operation has moved to the group’s neighbouring Volkswagen car dealership.

Hull used car expansion

The new JCT600 Approved Centre will display around 60 nearly new and used vehicles from a range of brands, while also offering finance, servicing and aftersales support. The business said the dealership is expected to create 10 new jobs across sales and aftersales and forms part of its wider programme of investment and redevelopment.

John Tordoff, executive chairman at JCT600, said: “JCT600 Approved Centres play an important role in our business, enabling us to provide customers with a wide range of high-quality used vehicles, that have undergone a detailed inspection and are price checked by our specialist teams to ensure they offer the best possible value.

“The opening of our Hull site, alongside our new Changan electric vehicle dealership, demonstrates our long-term commitment to the region and ensures we can support customers at every stage of their vehicle ownership journey.”

Used vehicle jobs growth

JCT600 said its network of six Approved Centres across Yorkshire and the East Midlands complements its franchised dealerships by offering used vehicles from a broad mix of brands. All vehicles undergo comprehensive checks and preparation, while customers can also access part-exchange offers, finance packages and full aftersales support.

Founded in Bradford in 1946, JCT600 represents 19 manufacturers and operates more than 50 dealerships and automotive businesses across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and the North East. The family-owned business said it continues to invest in its retail network as the automotive market evolves.
