Buyers across East Anglia can now drive away their next car on the same day thanks to a new handover service launched by the Holden Group.

The initiative, now available across the group’s dealerships in Norwich, Bury, and King’s Lynn, ia aimed at improving the used car buying experience by combining speed, convenience and main-dealer reassurance.

With a fully streamlined process in place, customers can select, purchase, and take home a fully prepared approved used car within hours.

Tim Holden, chief executive of the Holden Group, said: “In the day and age of Amazon, people expect things quickly. We aim to offer them flexibility and confidence when buying a car. If someone walks in, falls in love with a car, and wants to drive it home today, we’ll make it happen. There’s nothing worse than having to wait when you just want to take it home right away.”

Key features of the same-day handover service include: immediate availability on a wide range of approved used cars; full pre-sale preparation by brand-trained technicians; face-to-face service and post-sale support from a Holden Customer Care Hub

Group marketing manager Adam Ferjani added: “This is about convenience without compromise. Our customers get the speed they want, and the reassurance they deserve.”

Every car is inspected and prepared ahead of sale, with all paperwork and servicing completed in advance.

The Holden Group has expanded in recent years and now represents brands including Honda, Renault, Dacia, Volvo, and Kia.

Earlier this year Tim Holden returned to lead the family business after former LSH Auto UK boss Martyn Webb had a brief tenure as Holden’s managing director, during which he helped lead a strategic review of the group that included reducing costs and ensuring long-term sustainability for the business, reflecting the evolving challenges of rising costs and changes in the marketplace.

The group said Webb departs the business “after a successful tenure, during which he played a key role in driving operational improvements and transformational initiatives”.
