Holdcroft Motor Group is partnering with Stoke on Trent College as the latest business to join its Skills Pledge initiative.

Stoke on Trent College is committed to ‘Partnerships with Purpose,’ aligning with its recently launched corporate strategy, Skills Ready, Future Ready.

This partnership with Holdcroft Motor Group aims to address industry needs and close skills gaps identified in the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP).

Through this collaboration, Holdcroft Motor Group will have direct access to a pool of learners who can participate in apprenticeships, gain work experience, and benefit from industry talks provided by the business.

Lisa Capper, principal at Stoke on Trent College, said: “Working collaboratively, we have created a robust framework that supports learner development while meeting the needs of the motor vehicle industry. Our learners will gain hands-on experience, which will help them immensely when seeking future employment opportunities.”

Julie Ouzman, group HR director for Holdcroft Motor Group, stated: “Partnering with Stoke on Trent College for apprenticeships provides long-term stability for both our workforce and the motor industry as a whole. We firmly believe that developing a pipeline of well-trained professionals committed to our mission and growth will secure the future of our business.”
