Green 4 Motor Company has taken on the Geely Auto new car franchise, adding the Chinese brand to its Leamington Spa site.
The franchise will operate from Green 4’s Tachbrook Park Drive premises in Warwickshire, expanding the Coventry-based dealer group’s portfolio alongside Mazda, Subaru and Isuzu.
Geely Auto is part of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, which also owns Volvo Cars, Lotus Cars and Polestar. The brand is positioning itself in the UK around electrification and new energy vehicles.
From launch, the Leamington Spa site will offer the EX5 electric SUV and the Starray EM-i is a plug-in hybrid SUV.
A third model, the Geely EX2, a compact fully electric city car, is scheduled to join the range later this summer.
The appointment comes in the year Green 4 Motor Company marks its 30th anniversary. The Leamington Spa site was the first location in the group and remains a core part of its network.

Green 4 said its Leamington Spa facility will be extended and developed to accommodate the Geely brand, with a dedicated showroom area for the new models. Customer handovers are expected to begin later this year.
